I can’t believe it is already a week since Potfest in The Pens! My first-ever ceramic show. I have attended Potfest shows for the last 7 years but as a helper of Richard. This time roles switched and I could enjoy the ups and downs of running the stall.
I do find it more exciting that way!
I could write a lot about the stall preparation, planning etc – but the most important part of the show was PEOPLE.
Seeing people smile and laugh because of my birds, shouting, “Look at that dragon!” or trying to guess what animal is my biggest piece (It’s been called a deer, goat…and a cat!)
I’m looking forward to next year! I have a lot of new ideas to try!
